Using The Master Checklist System

Data Portfolio Setup:

When you first open the Master Checklist app, it may look like this:

Before you can get started, you need to create a Data Portfolio. A Data Portfolio is where you will create the database of information from which your template values will be drawn. Click on the "Data" app:

You will be presented with the following screen:

Click on the "+" icon as indicated, and give your Data Portfolio a name:

Introduction To The Data Library Manager:

The Data Library Manager has a few different views. The current view is controlled in the upper right hand corner. The first view shows each of the Data Portfolios you have created, in addition to any Data Portfolios that have been shared with you. Clicking the "Check Mark" on any of the Portfolios will set that as your current Portfolio.

The 2nd view on the upper right hand corner of the Data Library Manager contains tools to manage the underlying data that drives our dynamic templating system.

You don't actually need to enter any data into your newly created Data Portfolio in order to use the Master Checklist. We'll come back to the Data Portfolio features as they become enabled on the Master Checklist.

The Master Checklist:

Now that you have your Data Portfolio set up, you can create your first Master Checklist. Click on the "Master Checklist App":

Now your Master Checklist App should display a "+" icon. Click that icon to create a new Master Checklist:

The popup that results will let you name your checklist. You can change this later. Select a Jurisdiction, and any Exhibit Groups that you need to include for your application. For instance, an applicant applying for a Conditional Cultivation license in New Jersey would create a checklist like the following:

If you need to change any of the Checklist Settings, click on the "Edit" icon as shown:

Clicking on the Checklist Name will open the Checklist View:

In order to go back to all Checklists on the current Data Portfolio, click the "X" icon in the upper right corner:

Clicking on any "boxed +" icon for an Exhibit Group will expand it, revealing all of the Exhibit Template criteria within:

That "boxed +" icon will turn into a "boxed -" icon which will collapse the given Exhibit Group, hiding the Exhibit Templates within:

Clicking on any "boxed +" icon for an Exhibit Template will expand and reveal all Criteria within:

Click the "boxed -" icon for any Exhibit Template in order to collapse all Criteria within:

At the top of each Criterion, you will see the Criterion Type as indicated here:

The most common Criterion Types are "Check", "Text" and "Digital Asset". More advanced Criterion Types will be covered in another tutorial. Each Criterion contains a "Work On This" button. Clicking on that button will allow you to fulfill the Criterion:

A Criterion can be satisfied by Manual Checking, Saving Text, Uploading A File or another means depending upon the Criterion Type. Once a Criterion has been fulfilled, that Criterion's appearance will update on the list to include a "Check Mark":

Any fulfilled Criteria you enter on this list will now be staged and ready for your application. Even if the Exhibit Templates change, the CHT system will ensure that your fulfillments adapt to any changes to the Exhibit Group.
